2007 Parade Results

Summer is on the way, and means soon it will be time for the Bath Heritage Days Parade!  Main Street Bath, the producer of Heritage Days, cordially invites your business or organization to participate in Maine’s grandest parade on Friday, July 4th, 2008 starting at 11:00am.   The Heritage Days parade is a great way to get the word out about your organization or business to the thousands spectators, and it is also a lot of fun.

Bath is home one of the of the oldest and strongest high school alumni associations, so this year’s Heritage Days theme is “Homecoming”.  Floats should  reflect traditional Independence Day Themes in the spirit of celebrating Homecoming.  As seen in the 100th year celebration of Morse High School a few years back, our alumni show the spirit of our city like no other. Join in the celebration this year by entering a float with the Homecoming theme! 

Below is a link too the entry form to be filled out and returned to Main Street Bath by June 1st, 2008. This year's participants will be limited to 100 entrants and will be partially juried for appripriate content and theme orientation. Please submit your entrant idea to us at the earliest possible time to ensure your involvement. A confirmation letter or email will be sent just prior to the parade including your place number in the parade and other information about the parade.  Please designate one person as the contact person who will be sure everyone else in your group is kept up to date.

This year’s judging categories are: Musical, Individual, Humorous, Marching, Children’s Entry, Non-profit and Overall.  An awards ceremony will be held after the parade at in Waterfront Park. Be sure to be there for the Boat Parade and find out if you’ve won an award!
