This workshop is designed to meet the needs of local businesses, help you gain the knowledge and tools to build your online presence, reach your customers, and grow your business while saving you time and energy. Build confidence to manage your website, social media and online store. Extra support through 1:1 mentoring, networking with previous graduates of the last Bath cohort. This is a hybrid workshop, you can attend online or in person.

Alicia LaFosse, a Bath resident, has been an educator for over 25 years as well as a supportive family member for three small businesses. Bookkeeping, website management, marketing and lots of hands-on experience contribute to her role as the Midcoast Microenterprise Specialist for New Ventures Maine, formerly known as Women, Work and Community. She grew up in rural Central Maine but has fallen in love with the close knit community here in Bath. She appreciates the downtown shops, community events, and all the nature trails and proximity to the ocean. She brings her dedication to helping others to grow, learn and create strong businesses to all her courses, mentoring and networking in the Midcoast region for New Ventures Maine. Book an hour with Bill Card, the representative for the Midcoast Region for the Small Business Association. His expertise in assisting local Maine Businesses has been unmatched! These free sessions are held the first Tuesday of every month from 11-2pm at the Main Street Bath Office. Email for your appointment: assistant@visitbath.com
Stop in and meet with Dan Reed, the Program Manager for SCORE Maine. He can assist you with business planning and deep dive questions you may have about the systems that run your business. Dan is at the Main Street Bath office for the first Thursday of each month from 2-4pm. FMI: assistant@visitbath.com
A few times a year, we will host Round Table Meetings in the downtown. Business owners and managers show up and lean in, sharing their challenges, successes and trends. MSB's EV Committee then works towards bringing resources to the challenges, such as professional experts and free trainings.
